So Where do you Start?
What type of boat would meet your needs as well as your budget? What is the point in cruising the Thames on a boat built for the Med, beautiful but totally unsuitable. Where would you locate this boat of your dreams? Once you have found it how do you know you are not paying too much for it? How do you negotiate the right deal for both parties and avoid being ripped off? How do you arrange a survey, where are you going to keep it?
These are all obvious questions to consider. It is however staggering the number of people that we have met who do not consider any of the above. The result is that people rush in, buy the wrong boat and end up going way over budget. The result? They feel alienated by the boat and even grow to dislike it. They do not use it and do not achieve their dream.
