Don't Make an expensive mistake!
Boats are expensive, as are their moorings and subsequent maintenance. If you are not clued up then you will find that boating is a never ending drain on your finances. Next to your home the purchase of a boat could be the second biggest purchase that you may make in your life. You may be using your pension lump sum, company bonus, inheritance or even part of your life savings. If you have little or no knowledge then you are leaving yourself wide open to making a costly mistake. Yes the brokers are a mind of information and very pleasant, but their task is to sell you a product, that is their business!
If you are new or have limited knowledge then you are particularly vulnerable to making that costly mistake. We have seen many people buy a boat that is totally unsuitable for their needs and where it is to be used. The result is a boat that is not enjoyed, not used and which sits in the water deteriorating. All that time you are paying for the privilege of your boat just sitting there.
