Fees
For boats purchased for less than £100,000:
From £275.00 (plus travelling costs)
Boats over £100,000:
A flat fee of 2.5% of the sale price
If you do not feel confident to continue with negotiating the right price for you and making logistical decisions then we provide the following services either as an entire package or independently.
Additional Services

1-Negotiation
All boats are overpriced. Do not get stung. We will offer advice on the price to offer and will if required carry out the negotiating on your behalf. Any monies that are saved (the difference between the advertised sale price and the subsequent purchase price) would be subject to a fee of 10%.

2-Finance(No Fee)
If required we will arrange finance with a reputable marine bank.

3-Survey (No Fee)
It is recommended that all boats are surveyed by a suitably qualified marine surveyor. This would be arranged.

4-Mooring (Fee: £250)
The price of mooring varies considerably. The closer to London the more expensive it will be. Basically you get what you pay for. There are a number of things to consider from how far do you wish to travel to your mooring from home to what facilities does the mooring offer. Do you want the security of a Marina or a private mooring which will not offer much in the way of facilities? Again tell me what would suit, your budget and we will make those telephone calls on your behalf.

5-Transport (Fee: £75)
It could happen that we locate your boat some distance from your location and you wish to have it transported to moorings closer to home. We have knowledge of a number of recognised boat transporter companies and would be happy to arrange this.

6-Boat handling tuition
So the big day has arrived. Your pride and joy has arrived at its new home. You then realise that you do not know the first thing about it. How does it work, what makes it move through the water, what makes it turn more efficiently, how do you "park" it without damaging it. As a qualified R.Y.A. instructor we would be available to give full instruction to you and whoever else you feel would benefit. FEE: Two students £210.00 per day. One additional student a further £60.00
Mallorcan Services
- This unique service is also available in the Mediterranean island of Mallorca. We know the island incredibly well and have a large number of contacts there. Boating is very popular on the island and is an exciting alternative to the standard beach holiday. However dealing with the Brokers and the locals is more complicated due to the differing practices adopted there. Please contact me for details.
