Following retirement from the Police Service after 30 years, I did not wish to work for a large corporation again. This seemed the natural progression. It became apparent that a combination of my passion and knowledge of boats, together with wishing to provide a service to people with a similar interest, was the right direction to move in.
I learnt to sail at a young age, and have over the years continued to enjoy boats and messing about on the water. I have owned several river cruisers. I am a qualified RYA skipper on both motor launches and sailboats. I am also a RYA Inland Waterways instructor.
The idea of setting up this service came to me whilst instructing new boat owners. It very quickly became apparent to me that the majority had bought a boat that was totally unsuitable for their needs.
This was as a result of a lack of knowledge on the subject or, quite frankly, they had been mis sold by a broker.
I am offering an INDEPENDENT service which will provide you with the right boat and will save you time and ultimately money.
